Danica Patrick would most likely do better in F1/Indy car. Pastor on the other hand needs to go back to driving school.

out of those two.... Danica. I feel doing a lap let alone a race in a F1 does take some serious skill. Pastor wasn't just picked out of the blue.

So yes, Danica and simply because of the type of motorsport they are in. Not saying Indycar/NASCAR doesn't require great skill because it definitely does. But if you made it to F1...you made it to the top of motorsport. Especially if contracted by a team as prestigious as Lotus. AJ Foyt was in F1 for a little bit. Didn't ever win but was good enough to race in that level. Danica I feel will never reach that level.

I'm not even talking about Indy dude. Danica didn't even win in any of her feeder series. The closest apples to apples series she was in to compare to the GP2 was the Toyota Atlantic?

Looks like Danica is better by the numbers, but the number I'm more interested in is the percentage of races with...ah, unfortunate incidents. Crashtor suuuuure has a lot of 'em, at least in F1.

The only real way to tell would be to put them on a track against each other in a formula car. Was she in Indy Lights? I can't find any info that says she was.

They're both much better drivers than me at any rate.

She wasn't, she was in Ford European series with only some 2nd and third finishes. But, Indy Lights is the official feeder.

Crashtor got and keeps his ride because he brings several million worth of Venezuelan oil money along with him. While Danica is pretty well funded, if she were crashing the car every single week it wouldn't matter - Stewart-Haas aren't the kind of operation that would keep her around just for the sponsor money.
